Rebecca Lee Jakeway:

Born in Kailua, O’ahu, Rebecca, or Becca, graduated from King Kekaulike High School on Maui.  Becca, in 2006, started her career in fitness group training with triathlon & adventure runs while interning for her senior thesis at Aragua, Mormaii’s Sports and Cultural Center, in Florianopolis, Brazil.  In 2007, she began personal training in a large gym atmosphere in the heart of downtown Seattle before graduating from the University of Washington.  Since then she has expanded her knowledge and experience in the health and fitness field as a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor.   In 2010, Becca co-founded Om Maui Studio, a hybrid wellness studio, where she currently teaches private training and group classes.  She has and continues to help a variety of populations achieve their wellness and fitness goals, from kids, to adults and seniors up to 92 years old.

Becca aims for you to train smart and challenge yourself past what you thought was impossible.  She is dedicated to give you the opportunity to thrive in your passions throughout all the stages of your life.  Her approach for each client to simply feel good comes from a balance of cardio, strength, flexibility and a healthy diet.  Most importantly, she believes a positive mind-set opens the fronteir to maximize your potential.  To maintain a healthy lifestyle Becca empowers her clients to create a sustainable balance between your state of mind, physical activities and diet.

Becca combines each client’s goals with their physical needs to design a effective personalized training program.   She will help you set realistic and attainable goals based on your unique reality.   Her motivating, encouraging and energetic approach makes each personal training session fun and challenging.   She will teach you to move intelligently with proper alignment and body mechanics.  With this knowledge, you will gain body awareness to help you avoid and eliminate current or reoccurring injuries as you progress.  Each client will develop strength from a strong core, power from a stable muscular foundation and freedom from a flexible body.  Becca’s eye for alignment, attention to detail and diverse educational background helps each client stay safe and achieve their goals quicker.
